James Starkey, CPA

James Starkey is a supervising project manager at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). In this role, James works on various technical projects, including those related to supplier finance programs and share-based payments. Prior to joining the FASB, James was a consultant advising private companies in the technology industry on accounting matters primarily related to revenue recognition, share-based payments, business combinations, leases, and preferred stock financing transactions. James began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he audited entities ranging from small start-ups to global public companies. James is a CPA in New Jersey and Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University.
