Jabu M. Sengova, CCEP

Jabu M. Sengova is the Ethics Officer for the City of Atlanta Ethics Office. In this role, she provides leadership and direction in the areas of ethics advice and training, public education and outreach, financial disclosure filings, and enforcement of ethics cases. She brings her passion, experience, and commitment to building a strong ethical culture in city government and was instrumental in developing and producing the City’s pilot ethics e-learning course. Prior to that, she served as a Public Defender in Fulton County and as an Assistant Public Defender for the Atlanta Municipal Court’s Public Defender’s Office for upwards of 7+ years favorably representing clients in misdemeanor and felony matters. Jabu is an active member of local and national ethics and compliance organizations, holds a CCEP certification, and has presented at various conferences and seminars.
