Our chapter’s next meeting will be held Thursday, July 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Mill Starch Room. Our guest speaker William R. Thompson will be speaking on What Bankers Learned from the Great Recession.

William R. Thompson has been Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company since 2008. Prior to this position, he served in various positions in Atlanta, Columbus and Augusta at SunTrust Banks, Inc. Bill holds an Associate of Science in Business from Young Harris College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University. He is former Chairman of the following organizations: Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, Augusta Tomorrow, First Baptist Church, Golden Harvest Food Bank and Westminster Schools of Augusta.
