The Georgia State Board of Public Accountancy now requires all CPAs registered in Georgia to complete four (4) ethics CPE credits, including one (1) credit specific to the laws, rules and policies of the Board during the CPE reporting period. This course meets this requirement, and The Georgia Society of CPAs is a Georgia State Board of Accountancy-approved provider.

Equip yourself with tools to navigate the ethical challenges in the accounting profession. Discussion includes a significant emphasis on protecting the public trust, upholding advisor status and avoiding repercussions as pinnacle values for CPAs. This course also includes one-hour of Georgia rules and regulations specific to ethics, which is now required for license renewal.

  • Practice resolving ethical dilemmas and values conflicts in the workplace.
  • Explain how the state regulates the practice of public accounting in Georgia
  • Describe the Georgia State Board of Accountancy and its role in protecting the public trust
  • Summarize the rules that govern CPA behavior in Georgia, including those that relate to CPE and Professional Conduct
