Donna T. Mayo
Donna T. Mayo is currently Dean of the School of Business at Dalton State College. Donna has been with Dalton State for eight years and prior to her appointment at DSC, she held faculty positions at Middle Tennessee State University, Louisiana State University and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Prior to working in higher education Donna was employed in health care marketing and she was a social worker in the field of mental health. Donna holds a B.A. in Sociology (Mississippi College), a M.B.A (University of Southern Mississippi) and a Ph.D. in marketing and applied statistics (University of Alabama). Donna has published numerous scholarly and applied works in a variety of journals and books and she has made many national and regional presentations on marketing and other business topics. She has served as a consultant to more than 20 national, regional and local organizations and served on a wide variety of civic and community boards and committees. Donna and her husband Buddy have two sons, Ben and Zach.
