Sara C. Ogden, CPA Tax Manager Bates, Carter, & Co., LLP Sara Ogden is a certified public accountant with Bates, Carter, & Co., LLP, a full service accounting firm located in Gainesville, GA. The firm provides corporate and individual tax preparation and advisory services, commercial and government audits, small business services, business valuations, and other general business consulting. She is a manager in the firm’s tax services department. Sara has over 17 years of experience working with business and individual clients of varying sizes, including partnerships, S Corporations, and high net worth individuals. Her areas of focus in particular are multi-state organizations and entities with foreign subsidiaries. She is also responsible for technical research as well as internal training on tax compliance matters, with a focus of staying abreast of new legislative developments. Sara is a graduate of the University of North Georgia (formerly North Georgia College and State University) as well as Young Harris College. She holds a B.B.A in Accounting and an A.A. in Business. She is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, currently serving as the President of the Northeast Georgia Chapter, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
