Richard Walker
Richard F. Walker III (“Rick”) is a member of the Business Litigation Group in Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office. Rick advises clients in a wide-range of complex business disputes and investigations. Representative matters include: representing plaintiffs and defendants in high-value business disputes involving breach of contract and fiduciary duty claims; representing large commercial property developers and homeowners in construction defect lawsuits; representing international equipment manufacturer in lawsuits involving breach of warranty and product defect claims; representing municipality in +$500mm class action; advising publicly-traded and non-profit organizations in connection with internal and governmental investigations; representing industrial beef processor in nuisance litigation implicating right-to-farm act; advising fintech company in data-breach consumer class action. Rick also has significant expertise in insurance coverage litigation and advising private equity clients on disclosure obligations under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and state law equivalents. Rick graduated from Emory Law School in May 2017. After practicing for 5 years in New York City, he returned to Atlanta in the Spring of 2022. In his free time, Rick enjoys all varieties of ball sports, skiing, scuba diving, and walking his dog.
