Our chapter’s next meeting will be held Thursday, September 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Mill Starch Room. Our guest speakers are GSCPA Chair, Cromwell Baun and GSCPA CEO Boyd Search, who will present a Professional Issues Update.
Here is some additional information on our speakers:
Cromwell S. Baun, CFA, CFP, CIMA, CPWA is a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services Inc. Before his career in the financial services industry, he was a tax professional with Arthur Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP in Atlanta. Cromwell is a CPA in the state of Georgia where he currently serves as chair of The Georgia Society of CPAs.
Boyd Search, MBA, CAE is the Chief Executive Officer of The Georgia Society of CPAs. In his role, he focuses on delivering value to GSCPA members by creating opportunities for CPAs to be leaders in their profession; directing legislative initiatives and advocating for the profession; communicating the most critical professional issues; delivering relevant high-quality CPE; safeguarding the profession's high professional standards; building community and developing engagement among members and attracting the best and the brightest individuals to pursue CPA careers.
