Jerry Becknell
Special Agent Gerald (Jerry) Becknell has been a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation since June 1983. Prior to joining the FBI SA Becknell served 7 years in the U.S. Marine Corps leaving with the rank of Captain. SA Becknell has degrees in Business Administration and Criminal Justice. During the past eighteen years SA Becknell has been involved with a myriad of FBI investigations including terrorism, drugs, gangs, foreign counter intelligence, and computer crimes. His current assignment with the FBI is Coordinator of the InfraGard and ANSIR programs in Georgia. InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the corporate, academic, and law enforcement communities. These communities are all proactive in identifying and warning of cyber threats to the National Infrastructure. ANSIR is a program designed to warn industry and emergency services of threats of terrorism or other concerns of national interests.
