Ryan Moore
Ryan took the helm of the Economic Development Department at its inception in May of 2013 continuing his career in economic development in the State of Georgia. Ryan is experienced in deal negotiation, industrial attraction, and industrial land planning. He is responsible for the direction and oversight of the department and is actively involved in economic development efforts in the area. Prior to joining the Athens-Clarke County Department of Economic Development, he worked with the Effingham County IDA and was integral in attracting industries responsible for the creation of over 600 jobs and resulting in more than $175 in direct community investment. Ryan received his Economics Degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP). Ryan is a member of GEDA, IEDC, and SEDC. Ryan is married to Heather, an Elementary School teacher, who will be joining him in Athens-Clarke County in the middle of June 2013.
