Evan Alberhasky
Evan Alberhasky works with a diverse array of clients faced with employment and business transactional and litigation issues, including discrimination claims, restrictive covenant concerns, FLSA compliance, wage garnishments, mechanic’s liens, and business entity formation. Evan helps his clients with drafting new hire documents, such as employee handbooks, offer letters, and employment agreements as well as requests for corporate governance documents, including operating agreements, bylaws, and conflict of interest policies. Evan decided to focus his legal career from an employer-centric outlook because it gives him an opportunity to proactively help his clients. By providing policy and compliance guidance up front, Evan helps prevent problems before they start. At the same time, by building a solid foundation of trust with his clients, he makes the process of dealing with the occasional inevitable legal challenge much easier. Evan graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University’s College of Law where he was a member of GSU’s Moot Court, GSU’s Law Review (Associate Articles Editor), and a 2021-2022 pupil of the Bleckley Inn of Court. Prior to joining Stanton Law, Evan was a fundraiser for various Jewish causes. He has an M.A. in Jewish Studies, from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and an M.A. in Holocaust and Genocide Studies, from Kean University in New Jersey. Evan obtained his B.A. in History from Indiana University. “I find that being a lawyer allows me to combine my passion for historical analysis with modern day realities. Being at Stanton Law is the perfect place to put my varied background into practice with one main goal — helping my clients.” When not cooking, reading for pleasure, or chasing the next best setlist on Phish tour, Evan is usually spending time with his wife, Marina, and their precocious and energetic daughter, Katherine.
