Michael Landers, CPA
After growing up in the panhandle of Texas, I made my way to the University of Texas where I graduated with my BBA and Masters in Accounting. I started my professional career at PwC and spent 12 years serving a mix of public and private companies in the financial services and real estate industries. I was drawn to the happy culture at Embark where I enjoy helping our clients solve their tough problems and be their best selves. I have significant experience with financial statement preparation, SEC and AICPA reporting requirements, financial systems and process development. Outside of working hours, I have a part-time job as a personal driver for my three kids, shuttling them to all sorts of sports and activities. My wife, Collins, and I love spending time cooking and working in the yard.
