Emily Dabney, Esq.
Emily Dabney assists clients in navigating the areas of estate planning, succession planning, tax planning, and corporate matters. She works closely with clients to understand their unique needs and goals and develop a plan to help them achieve their objectives in the most tax-efficient manner. Emily is experienced in drafting complex wills and trusts, implementing charitable planning methods, and ensuring clients’ utilization of lifetime gifting. On the corporate side, Emily has formed numerous for profit and non-profit entities, drafted complex partnership and shareholder agreements, and implemented entity reorganizations to maximize tax efficiency and asset protection. Born in Miami, Florida, Emily received her BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design and a BA in Politics from Eugene Lang College. After completing her undergraduate degrees in New York City, Emily attended Emory University School of Law, graduating in 2021. Upon graduating from Emory, she joined a boutique tax and estate planning firm in Atlanta as an associate attorney. Emily’s goal is to combine her art and legal backgrounds by representing members of Georgia’s booming art and entertainment industries. As such, Emily is an active pro bono attorney volunteer with Georgia Lawyers for the Arts.
