Elizabeth M. Sigler

Elizabeth Sigler became Stanton Law’s first hire when she joined the firm in 2012, and has built a practice advising HR departments on employment law compliance in the almost decade since. In a typical week, about half of her time is spent defending employers against charges and demands of discrimination, retaliation, leave, and pay disputes. The other half is spent counseling clients on how to prevent employment disputes from arising through proactive compliance planning and thoughtful employee relations management. Elizabeth grew up the daughter of a busy human resources executive, who primed her interest in employment law from a tender age with stories from the front lines of HR around the family dinner table. Elizabeth is fascinated by the human interaction at the root of every HR story and years of experience working closely on HR issues for companies large and small, from a variety of industries, has proven that there is more than one way to successfully navigate HR challenges. Elizabeth grew up in Atlanta, graduating from Woodward Academy in 2003. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill as a Davie Scholar, graduating with dual BAs in Political Science and Spanish. At GSU College of Law, Elizabeth was a law review nerd and interned at the DOL and the EEOC. Elizabeth and her husband T.J. spend most of their non-working hours wrangling their two rugrats, Ginny and Ben. When she’s not working or parenting tiny people, Elizabeth reads voraciously, crafts, and sometimes goes outside.
