Carla T. Chandler, CPA
Carla Chandler, CPA, CHFP, Hospital Group CFO, Emory Healthcare Carla Chandler has been the Hospital Group CFO for Emory Healthcare since July 2021. In this role she oversees the financial management of the Emory Hospitals, including Hospital care coordination, Hospital finance and decision support, Accounts payable, and Payroll. She also oversees the System Finance department which is responsible for long-term capital planning and financial oversight of EHI Shared Services. Ms. Chandler joined Emory in 2005, as Director of Financial Services for the Woodruff Health Sciences Center. In 2011, she became the Corporate Director of Financial Planning and Reporting for Emory Healthcare. In 2014, she became the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Emory University Hospital, Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital and Emory University Hospital at Wesley Woods. Prior to joining Emory, she was with KPMG, where she served primarily healthcare clients and was designated as a national KPMG instructor. Ms. Chandler has served as the Chair of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Healthcare Section Leadership Team and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Ms. Chandler is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is a Certified Professional Accountant licensed in Georgia and is a Certified Healthcare Finance Professional.
