Rick graduated from Catholic University of America in 1984 at age 20 and has been in the public accounting industry ever since having worked within large local firms and national firms ... he built a quality tax and consulting firm in Forsyth County Georgia which he eventually merged with Rushton LLC in 2021 where he is a Tax Partner. He has served on the GSCPA Litigation Services Committee, Cumming/Forsyth Small Business Development Committee as well as on local community boards including YMCA of Forsyth County, Family Promise of Forsyth County, and Kiwanis. Some were as part of the founding board which required forward thinking while keeping a grasp on present endeavors and results. He enjoys the time when he can be providing pro-active services through personal attention to clients and team members to help meet their current needs and setting future goals. Over his career he has been blessed to learn from many others while serving a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 individuals, a CEO of publicly traded company, professional athletes .... and yet his career and knowledge has been more impacted some times by various local business owners who built successful businesses enjoying what they do for a living .... He enjoys the outdoors, played and coached soccer, has run two marathons (including the Authentic in Greece), finished the Spartan Trifecta, served on mission trips in Haiti, Mexico and Peru ... and above all been blessed with a wonderful wife of over 35 years , two adult children and one grandchild.
