C.J. Ehrentraut
C.J. is a member of Forvis Mazars’ Healthcare Performance Improvement practice unit virtually based in Tennessee. He has over seventeen years of progressive Revenue Cycle experience in provider and consulting settings with a comprehensive background in Patient Access and Billing. He is well-versed in various solutions and adapts to innovative technology quickly. C.J. has managed Patient Access and Billing operations for both hospital and multi-site physician clinics with a focus on the design and implementation of various operating models to increase collections, streamline workflows to facilitate the reduction of AR and denials, as well as creating policies to increase patient satisfaction. He utilizes strong organizational and management skills to solve problems, improve processes and drive results. C.J. is a member of the Tennessee Chapter of the Healthcare Finance Management Association where he maintains his Executive Healthcare Revenue Cycle (EHRC) certification. He earned both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Professional Studies (MPS) with a concentration in Strategic Leadership from the University of Memphis. C.J. served as a Sergeant in the United States Army and received multiple awards for his service in Operation Enduring Freedom prior to beginning his healthcare career.
