Katie Wolfert
Katie is a member of the Healthcare Performance Improvement service line. She has more than 17 years of experience in front-end revenue cycle with a focus on patient access, change management, and HER conversions. In a rapidly evolving environment, Katie strives to provide her years in industry of problem solving, analysis, and best practices to clients to achieve the highest levels of success. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, she began her career with a large hospital system, where she obtained experience in patient access, process improvement, data analysis, change management, and acquisitions. She led the conversion efforts for multiple hospital and physician practice acquisitions, including but not limited to developing standard operation procedures, staffing assessments, process improvements, quality checks, and overall system design. She then ventured into the technology sector, working directly with a few prominent electronic health record vendors, leading successful revenue cycle implementations and optimizations. As a lead migration consultant, she worked to set the standard for a new revenue cycle application and was part of the first successful implementation and adoption of that product. Katie is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management, as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate. She is a 2010 graduate of University at Buffalo, New York, with a B.S. degree, and a 2014 graduate of Columbia Southern University, Orange Beach, Alabama, with an M.B.A. degree and an M.H.A. degree.
