William A. Bregar

Bill grew up in Denver, Colorado. In 1976 he entered the US Army as a Military Policeman working for The Army Security Agency, a Military Intelligence Organization. During his three years of active service, he was a Security Specialist, maintaining physical security for classified Intelligence Bases both domestically and in Europe. After active duty Bill was commissioned as an Army Reserve Officer working in Military Intelligence. He spent a total of 11 years in the Army. Bill was also a Police Officer for several years. In 1986 Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State College, Denver, in Private Security Administration and Management. He has worked for three major retail corporations as a Regional Loss Prevention and Safety Manager. His next two positions were as Director of Loss Prevention and Safety for The Athletes Foot Group, Inc. and most recently for West Building Materials. He has written numerous articles for industry magazines. Bill founded Loss Prevention Systems, Inc in 1993. LPSI has a strong record of significant reductions in inventory shrinkage and losses due to employee theft, shoplifting, procedural errors, bad debt, workers compensation and safety.
