Don Powell
Don Powell, Ph.D. University of North Texas/Denton, Texas Dr. Powell is a Professor of Management where his teaching specialties are executive skills and strategic management. His background includes both business and military experience. He has over 20 years experience conducting training seminars through his affiliation with the Professional Development Institute and now the AICPA. He has also done management training for such organizations as: Digital Equipment Corp., Flintkote Co., Otis Engineering, Central and South West Corp., TECCOR Inc., United Stationers, Levi Strauss, Cellstar Corp., and American Eurocopter. Among the training program topics Don has developed are: Supervision basics, middle management skills, time management, work force issues, conflict management and creativity, motivation, effective delegation negotiation skills, and decision making.
