First, Georgia State University Associate Professor of Accounting Danny Lanier will cover how academia is preparing future CPAs for the changing world. His presentation is titled: The Accounting Talent Shortage: Causes, Proposed Solutions and Implications for the Accounting Profession. Next, we will have GSCPA's 2024-2025 Chair Kathryn Fletcher, Immediate Past Chair Carlton Hodges and CEO Boyd Search give a professional issues update.
