Our chapter’s next meeting will be held Thursday, June 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Mill Starch Room. Our guest speaker, Alex Griffin, will be speaking on Service & Stewardship: Leadership Lessons from Public Office to Foundation Work.
Alex Griffin, candidate for Columbia County Commission District 1, has a heart for service and stewardship, to go along with a passion for business and politics. Born and raised in the Augusta area, Alex has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. After starting his career in commercial real estate finance and development, Alex pivoted to the world of higher education foundations, working now at the Medical College of Georgia Foundation, where he manages real estate development projects, runs student programs, and is tasked with producing innovative ideas for the foundation.
