Call for Volunteers: Task Forces
The Georgia Society of CPA's is looking for volunteers! If you are interested in serving on a conference task force please review the descriptions of the tasks forces with open positions and fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up Form.
Personal Financial Planning Conference Task Force
Task force consists of 5-7 GSCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Perks include building relationships with other GSCPA members who have a similar professional interest and receiving half-off conference registration.
Qualifications: 3+ years' experience providing financial planning and/or wealth management advisory services, GSCPA Member
Requirements: Participation in one meeting and performance of various conference duties, such as introduction of one or more speakers
Time commitment: 10 hours annually (includes conference attendance)

Business & Industry Conference Task Force

Accounting & Auditing Conference Task Force

Governmental Accounting & Auditing Conference Task Force

Not-for-Profit Conference Task Force
Task force consists of 7-10 GSCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Qualifications: 3+ years' nonprofit industry experience (i.e. finance director, financial manager) or 5+ years' experience providing advisory services to the nonprofit industry, GSCPA Member

Tax Forums Conference Task Force
Task force consists of 7-10 GSCPA members who assist with the development of the conference agenda by identifying and selecting relevant topics and qualified speakers. Perks include building relationships with other GSCPA members who have a similar professional interest and receiving half-off conference registration.
Qualifications: 10+ years' experience in individual and/or business taxation including preparation, filing, reporting and/or planning, GSCPA Member
Requirements: Participation in one meeting and performance of various conference duties, such as introduction of one or more speakers. This conference has two locations (Atlanta and Savannah).
Time commitment: 12 hours annually (includes conference attendance)
