GSCPA's Second Annual Clays & CPAs Tournament

This year’s Clays & CPAs fundraising event benefitting GSCPA's Political Action Committee was a tremendous success. Over 60 attendees came together at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays and Grill in Waleska, Ga. for a clay shoot tournament. Energy was high and the weather was overcast and warm (many remembered the frigid temperature of last year's tournament!) for a day of fun, camaraderie and support for the CPA profession. Seeing our community come together is always inspiring, and attendee enthusiasm made this event so unique.

Throughout the morning, shooters competed for bragging rights as the top foursome to hit the most clays. Once everyone had completed their 15 stations, scores were tallied to determine the Sute CPAs representatives took the win. Congratulations to David Fortenberry, Hall O'Neal, Justin Porter and Megan Sims on their total of 336. Awards were also given to the "best dressed team" from Focus Partners and "better luck next time" to the team from Draffin Tucker. Raffle tickets were for sale during the event and prizes were given.
