GSCPA Warns of Phishing Email

The Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA) has been notified that a phishing email scam is targeting CPAs in Georgia. Please be aware that the email is not from The Georgia Society. 

If you receive an email from "billing dept" with "The Georgia Society of CPA Membership Past Due" in the subject line, do not open it, do not click its links, and delete it immediately.

Recipients should not click on the links contained in the email as they could be exposed to malware. Recipients who click on the link in the email should run a full virus scan of their computers.
