Jeff B. Brown
JEFF BROWN Director, Subsidium Health Advisors Jeff is currently a Director for Subsidium Health Advisors, a strategy advisory firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In his current position, Jeff is focused on assisting health care organizations in integrating strategy with operations. Jeff's training and background is in healthcare operations and finance. He currently is working with a leading Integrated Delivery Network, a regional health system, and a publicly traded health care technology company. Prior to joining Subsidium Health Advisors, Jeff served as an Industry Director for Arthur Andersen's health care practice. He led multiple healthcare projects, served as a business advisor, and/or provided strategic advice to a wide array of integrated delivery systems, physician management companies, managed care companies, long-term care providers and home health providers. He has published several articles in industry trade journals and is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives. He received his academic training in business administration at Georgia Southern University, and his masters degrees in Business Administration and Health Administration at Georgia State University. His primary areas of expertise include: · Health enterprise strategy, · Performance management, · Organizational design, · Project management, · Hospital operational and profitability improvement, · Health system integration, · Strategic market and feasibility assessments, and · Revenue cycle assessments and design. Relevant Experience · Led a performance strategy project for a large, regional integrated delivery network. Responsibilities included designing the framework for a corporate performance and quality institute; validating the organization's strategy (mission, vision, core competencies, and strategic objectives); identifying and linking key performance indicators to strategic objectives; and developing the structure for a corporate level balanced scorecard ("BSC").
