David Smucker
David K. Smucker, CPA, CLU, CFP has been working with individual and business income taxes since 1967. He started his career as an Internal Revenue Agent, working for the IRS for seven years. During that time he earned his CPA certificate and taught a CPA review course. In 1974 David entered into sole practice as a CPA, staying a sole practitioner for 10 years. In 1984 he joined a regional accounting firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. While with that firm he specialixed in taxes, financial planning and developing financial forecasts; he also earned his Certified Financial Planner certification. In 1989 David was recruited by Nationwide, David has earned his Charter Life Underwriter designation, and is currently working on the Chartered Financial Consultant as well. David brings a broad knowledge of taxation, financial planning and life insurance to his seminar participants, along with an energetic and enthusiastic presentation style.
