Jill Griffith-Goodwin, CPA, CPC
Jill is a managing director with the Healthcare Performance Improvement team. With more than 35 years of healthcare experience, Jill brings a unique perspective to clients with her ability to draw upon her hospital operational experience and her keen understanding of government and commercial payment system regulations. She leads Forvis Mazars’ Provider-Based and Compliance service line which includes assisting hospitals with clinic strategies to optimize reimbursement and 340B Drug Pricing Program opportunities, performing Provider-based Compliance assessments to ensure compliance with all provider-based rules, assisting hospitals with establishing both provider-based and free-standing Rural Health Clinics as well as standing up remote locations of hospitals under the provider-based rule. Additionally, she assists hospitals with ensuring their Corporate Compliance structure is effective and often assists with establishing annual work plans for the department. Her prior experience includes corporate director of reimbursement, chief compliance officer for large health systems that include large and small hospitals as well as physician practice groups and post-acute care components. She works closely with attorneys regarding compliance reviews, independent review organization engagements, and other compliance-related matters requiring repayment and self-disclosure. Jill is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Professional Coder. She speaks nationally for various healthcare industry audiences. Jill is currently serving as the HFMA Region IV Regional Executive. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Healthcare Financial Managers Association, American Academy of Professional Coders and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is a graduate of University of Charleston, West Virginia, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
