Joanne Krueger, J.D., LL.M
Joanne is a director with PwC’s Tax services and a member of the Exempt Organization Tax Services (EOTS) group of the firm’s National Tax Services (NTS) practice. She performs tax compliance and consulting services for various non-profit clients, including healthcare systems, academic medical centers, pension trusts, various tax-exempt trusts, public charities, and higher education organizations. Joanne brings 15 years of non-profit tax experience as a member of the EOTS group of the firm’s NTS practice. Joanne focuses her practice on various types of US tax-exempt organizations where she has specialization and experience in unrelated business income, intermediate sanctions, obtaining and maintaining exempt status, Form 990 compliance, IRC section 501(r) compliance, tax reform implementation, tax planning, and alternative investment analysis. Joanne has extensive experience in tax-exempt trust compliance and alternative investment income reporting. Joanne received her B.S. in Finance from The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University. She received her J.D from Villanova University School of Law. Joanne completed her LL.M. in taxation at Villanova University School of Law. Joanne is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. She is also a member of the HFMA Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter and the Tax Exempt Lawyers Group sponsored by the ABA Tax Section. Joanne serves as a board member and Vice Chair of the Federation Early Learning Services board, a 501(c)(3) public charity focused on early childhood education.
